BOCP(Business Opportunity Creation Project) Program

1) Overview

KAIST ITTP supports ITTP students to utilize the cooperation activity with Korean ICT company/ Institute to solve the needs of their own countries. It is recommended to develop the new idea business opportunities considering the needs and requirements of students’ home countries through the support and cooperation of Korean IT companies and organization. BOCP is the most important program to make a strong connection between students’ home country and Korean ICT company/institute through student’s activity in Korea. ITTP encourages students to join the BOCP program one more time for whole semester. 

2) Process

① Students submit the project proposal for demand survey based on students’ own needs or their home countries’ needs

② Based on the needs of the students, ICT/SW workshop with Korean companies/ institute are held.

③ Students submit the project proposal and brief project plan report.

④ ITTP office connects the relevant company with the student (Student can contact with company and institute)

⑤ Students submit the project plan including the opinion of partner company.

⑥ Students submit the final report and presentation

3) Report

 Students can download the form of BOCP reports on ITTP web-site (Community>ITTP Form).

 Every reports should submitted to ITTP Office via email(sharon8154@kaist.ac.kr)

4) Support

For the BOCP cooperation, On-line activity is recommended during a semester and On/Off-line activity is recommended during a vacation. When you get the permission from ITTP committee, you can earn financial support. You need to submit an application form for business trip ahead of the meeting. Also, you are required to submit the project progress report after the meeting.
