Special Chuseok Celebration at KAIST GDI

We had an amazing Chuseok event at KAIST GDI on September 13th! 

Chuseok (추석) is Korea’s Thanksgiving Day, a time to express gratitude for the year’s harvest.
In celebration, we prepared songpyeon (송편), a traditional rice cake made with grains harvested throughout the year.
Our students enjoyed tasting this sweet treat, which brought a festive atmosphere to the event! 

To add to the fun, we hosted a Yutnori (윷놀이) competition!
Teams competed in this traditional Korean board game, and it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to bond and create lasting friendships. 
We also shared plenty of laughs while enjoying some playful moments together. 
We hope this event helped everyone feel more connected to Korean traditions, and we look forward to next year’s celebration!
