Global AI Capacity Building for Sustainable Transformation

With the full support of the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), Republic of Korea, the Digitalogy Academy represents Korea’s vision to share its excellence in science and technology with the world and to jointly build sustainable and inclusive AI futures through global collaboration.

The 2026 Digitalogy Academy, hosted by KAIST Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI), is a flagship international non-degree capacity-building program designed for global public-sector leaders and professionals.

Funded by MSIT, this program provides a unique platform to strengthen global AI capacity and foster sustainable digital transformation through interdisciplinary learning, policy dialogue, and international collaboration.

Participants will gain strategic insights and practical knowledge needed to drive AI-powered innovation across sectors and countries.
 


■ Program Overview

The program empowers participants with the knowledge, skills, and global perspectives required to lead AI-driven transformation across:

  • Public sectors

  • Industrial ecosystems

  • Social innovation domains

Through a hybrid structure (online + selective in-country program in Korea), participants will engage with leading experts, real-world case studies, and international peer networks to co-create sustainable and inclusive digital futures.

Eligibility

Applicants must be international participants from the public sector only, including:

  • Government officials

  • Researchers from public institutions

  • University faculty members

  • Experts from international organizations

✔ Submission of a Global Collaboration Project Proposal is required.


■ Program Structure

1️⃣ Online Program

  • Real-time online orientation

  • 13 AI-based pre-recorded expert lectures

  • Real-world case studies

All online participants are required to submit a comprehensive final report based on integrated evaluation questions.

※ The final report is mandatory for course completion and serves as the basis for selection into the offline program.


2️⃣ Offline Program (Korea | Selected Participants Only)

Outstanding participants will be invited to South Korea to participate in:

  • Advanced expert lectures

  • Conferences, workshops, and hands-on sessions

  • Site visits to leading Korean technology and innovation institutions

  • Cultural exchange activities and global networking events

※ Dates are subject to change due to operational or external circumstances.


■ Support for Offline Participants

Selected offline participants will receive:

  • Round-trip airfare (economy class, capped by region)

  • Accommodation and meals during the offline program

  • Local transportation during the program period

※ Personal expenses, visa issuance costs, and airport transportation are not covered.


■ Important Notes

  • Participants must obtain prior travel approval from their home institutions.

  • Visa and immigration procedures are the sole responsibility of each participant.
