KAIST GDI proudly participated in "The Global Innopolis Network Initiative" held in Daejeon on September 3.

Building on the success of the UCLG World Congress in 2022 and the Global Innopolis Forum in 2023, this year's event marked the launch of a global network, connecting six founding member cities: Daejeon (South Korea), Dortmund (Germany), Hsinchu (Taiwan), Malaga (Spain), Montgomery County (MD, USA), and Seattle (USA).
The initiative aims to foster innovation and sustainable economic development through science and technology-based collaborations between cities. 

KAIST GDI students actively participated in the second session of the event, showcasing their ideas and research through presentations, contributing to the successful conclusion of the initiative. 
It was a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and explore new possibilities for collaboration between academia and industry.
