During the visit, we learned about LX's history and had the opportunity to experience a VR game. LX has been conducting cadastral resurveys since 2012 to ensure accurate cadastral information in South Korea, benefiting property rights and land utilization. Also, LX has been actively sharing its expertise in geospatial information technologies with developing countries and supporting private sector companies in expanding into international markets, thereby fostering a collaborative global network.
After visiting the LX exhibition hall, the LX cadastral survey team demonstrated their fieldwork, teaching us to measure boundaries directly. It was an incredibly impressive experience for all of us.
Afterward, GDI students explored Jeonju Hanok Village. Jeonju Hanok Village is the largest Hanok-dense area in Korea, with more than 800 Hanoks gathered to preserve its traditional old appearance. GDI students continued their journey by eating Bibimbap, a traditional Korean food, and wearing Hanbok, a traditional Korean costume. Since then, we had the unique opportunity to engrave our Korean names on Korean seals, a truly enjoyable activity for everyone. Furthermore, the dinner we shared Bulgogi was exceptionally delicious! So our students were surprised by the excellent taste of Korean food after eating Bulgogi.
GDI hopes it was an opportunity for them to experience and become more familiar with Korean traditional culture.
