On August 5, we had the 2022 Global Technology Commercialization Expert Seminar and students' BOCP experience sharing session. KAIST GCC was established in 2015 to promote technology commercialization between Korea and the world to create innovative economic value through global technology commercialization. Ms. Kwon explained the demand-pull and Technology push pool process and introduced some cases in which KAIST GCC collaborated with ITTP students and alumni. Also, she introduced the opportunity to work with GCC as a research assistant. If you work hard, you might get a good chance! On top of that, we selected outstanding students who showed excellence in the BOCP Progress Presentation held on July 6. The selected students had a presentation to share their experiences, such as the stories of how they have made progress and contributed to the projects. The presenters were Rosarin, Alemseht, and Carlos! Thank you for your time! 1. Rosarin introduced 'Open Call Cases' organized by international organizations such as APEC and MKCF, emphasizing why collaboration sponsored by the government or international organizations is good. 2. Alemshet introduced the healthcare industry collaboration. His contribution and involvement have led the project to the discussion level to set up a local branch in Ethiopia. The initiative was not big. However, the next step seems big! 3. Carlos introduced private sector collaboration to trade shrimp protein. His passion for leading the project and his strong drive to make it work were inspiring. Your involvement in the project made progress without a doubt. Your passion for collaboration between your country and Korea will contribute to technology commercialization initiatives like the presenters. Your passion and contribution mean a lot. You will definitely learn and grow up through the process regardless of the actual result. However, we believe it will make a good result! Once again, thank you for your amazing contribution and time!
